About
FRC
The primary goal of Family Recovery Court is to provide substance abuse treatment and accountability to parents who have been identified by the Court and/or Department of Child Services as having issues with substance abuse which impacts their parenting abilities. The Family Recovery Court program is a court supervised comprehensive treatment program for these families. This is an intensive rehabilitation program that includes regular court appearances before the Spencer County Family Recovery Court Judge. Treatment includes the following: drug testing; individual, family, and group therapy; and regular attendance at sober support meetings (like AA, NA, Celebrate Recovery, or similar programs).
